We all move through cycles and seasons of death and rebirth in our lives.

• Lack of Structure: Without rituals to mark life's transitions, significant moments can pass by, leaving people in a "chasm of emptiness".

• Loss of Rites of Passage: In modern society, the loss of traditional, ceremonial rites of passage can lead to a sense of "limbo" where adulthood fails to properly begin.

• Shame as Isolation: Shame is described as an intensely painful, isolating emotion that thrives when we feel disconnected or unworthy.

• Ritual as Meaning: Rituals provide structure, depth, and a sense of purpose that counteracts the mundanity of daily life.

With a background in earth based traditions and eastern spirituality, I have found ceremony to be an incredibly enriching and impactful aspect of my life.
